By accessing or utilizing the website selfbuyer.com (the “Site”) or using our product sourcing, logistics, and private checkout services (collectively, the “Services”), you (“the Client,” “User,” or “Customer”) agree to be bound unconditionally by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using our Site and Services.

1. Scope of Services & Business Model

SelfBuyer operates as an independent on-demand procurement, sourcing, and global logistics optimization agent.

  • The Sourcing Request: Users submit product ideas, images, descriptions, or third-party web links (e.g., from Amazon, TikTok Shop, etc.) via our central sourcing widget (the “Engine”).

  • The Quote & Private Landing Page: If our network successfully locates a viable direct manufacturer, we will calculate an all-inclusive landed price and generate a private, unlisted custom product page on SelfBuyer.com for the Client’s specific batch.

  • The Purchase: The Client purchases the sourced goods directly from SelfBuyer.com using our secure third-party payment gateways.

2. Intellectual Property & Third-Party Site Disclaimers

  • Independent Agent Status: SelfBuyer is a completely independent entity. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Amazon, TikTok Shop, Alibaba, or any third-party brands, platforms, or retail stores submitted by our Users.

  • User Warranty on Submissions: By pasting a link, uploading an image, or providing specifications, you warrant that you have the legal right to request the sourcing of such items. You agree that SelfBuyer is acting purely as a mechanical service agent to match your public requests with private manufacturers.

  • Trademark & Copyright Compliance: SelfBuyer does not knowingly source, replicate, or manufacture counterfeit goods. If you request custom private labeling or branding modifications (“White Labeling”), you assume 100% legal liability for ensuring your brand names, logos, and designs do not infringe upon any existing global trademarks or copyrights.

3. Quoting, Pricing, & Payment Terms

  • Dynamic Nature of Quotes: All pricing provided via email, WhatsApp, or private product links is calculated based on real-time raw material costs, local factory conditions, and volatile international air-freight logistics fuel surcharges. Quotes are valid strictly for the timeframe specified in the communication (typically 7 to 14 days).

  • All-Inclusive Landed Cost (DDP): Unless explicitly stated otherwise, our pricing operates under Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) terms. This means the price displayed on your custom product page includes the baseline manufacturing cost, international express air freight, import custom clearances, duties, and local taxes. No surprise invoices will be issued by the carrier upon arrival.

  • Payment Security: Payments are executed safely via external, PCI-compliant institutions (such as Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay). Orders will not be sent to production until payment has cleared in full.

4. Manufacturing Realities & Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)

  • Small-Batch Flexibility: SelfBuyer specializes in negotiating low minimum order quantities (typically 5 to 50+ pieces) to help startups test markets.

  • Sample Variations: Minor physical, cosmetic, color palette, or structural discrepancies may occasionally occur between a retail item link submitted online and a direct-from-factory baseline item. By purchasing your batch, you acknowledge that factory-floor mass production holds standard industry variances (+/- 5%).

  • Order Cancellation: Because your product page and batch are customized to your specific request, all sales are final once production begins at the factory. Cancellations, modifications, or changes cannot be accommodated mid-cycle.

5. Shipping, Logistics, & Passing of Risk

  • Express Air Delivery Timelines: While we aim for our standard 7-Day Express Air Delivery timeline once the items leave our sorting hub, all shipping windows are estimates, not guarantees. SelfBuyer is not liable for structural transit delays caused by global airline disruptions, severe weather anomalies, local customs clearance gridlocks, or carrier holiday backlogs.

  • Address Accuracy: The Client is solely responsible for entering a verified, precise, and secure delivery address. SelfBuyer is not liable for items lost, misdelivered, or returned due to incorrect typography or addresses submitted via the checkout page.

6. Refunds, Returns, & Defective Batch Policy

Because our items are sourced directly from global factory floors strictly to fulfill your custom business request, SelfBuyer does not accept standard retail returns, exchanges, or buyer’s remorse refunds.

  • Defective Merchandise: If your batch arrives structurally damaged, defective, or missing units, you must notify our support team within 48 hours of carrier delivery at email@selfbuyer.com.

  • Evidence Required: You must provide clear photographic and video evidence of the outer shipping boxes, the inner packaging, and the specific defective items.

  • Resolution Path: Upon verifying a legitimate factory production failure or transit structural loss, SelfBuyer, acting as the Merchant of Record, will either issue a proportional refund for the affected items or coordinate a replacement run with the factory at our discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SelfBuyer and its officers, directors, employees, or global factory partners shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of business profits, loss of digital ad spend on platforms like TikTok or Meta, inventory downtime penalties, or product liability claims resulting from your subsequent retail sale of the sourced merchandise to third-party end consumers.

Our total cumulative liability for any verified claim arising directly out of an order loop shall never exceed the total dollar amount paid by the Client to SelfBuyer for that specific transaction.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and your operational relationship with SelfBuyer shall be governed by, and interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the jurisdiction where our corporate entity is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to your use of our Site, widget tool, or custom checkouts shall first be submitted to informal, good-faith mediation via our customer support channel. If a resolution cannot be reached within 30 business days, the matter shall be settled through binding, confidential arbitration in our corporate registration jurisdiction.

9. Modifications to Terms

SelfBuyer reserves the absolute right to rewrite or update sections of these Terms at any time to remain fully compliant with changing international maritime laws, customs border updates, or digital security guidelines. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for updates.
